A custom domain lets your Miwa.lol profile appear on a domain you own. For example, if you own example.com, visiting it would display your profile. This page explains how to set one up. Don't worry, it's relatively simple.
What you need
- A domain name (obviously, this guide won't help much without one!)
You can buy a domain from various registrars, such as Namecheap, GoDaddy or Cloudflare. - Full access to your domain's DNS records
Setting up your custom domain
First, go to your account settings and click on the icon in the Custom domain field:
A dialog will appear, prompting you to enter your custom domain.
- 1.Type in your domain name (without
https://). - 2.In your domain's DNS settings, create a CNAME record pointing to
miwa.lol. - 3.Click Verify.
Troubleshooting
Some DNS providers don't allow a CNAME record at the domain root (the apex). To avoid this and similar DNS issues, we recommend using Cloudflare's nameservers.
